Dr. Jay Taylor, PhD Research Scientist

Jay Taylor received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2019 and began consulting with TearDx in early 2021 while finishing a postdoctoral appointment at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. In Summer of 2021, Jay joined TearDx as a Research Scientist.

Jay is an expert in chemical modification and analysis of material surfaces and is currently leading the development of TearDx’s proprietary bioassay platform.
